What color highlights should i get for my naturally black hair?

I have caramel colored skin and a little longer than shoulder length hair. Everyone says all different things from blond to hot pink. the ones most said are blond red and blue. Which do you think? BTW i am indian. if you have any pics that would be good but if not thats ok.What color highlights should i get for my naturally black hair?

i'm indian too, kewl, okay i think that dark brown would look really good, it would be kind of like a subtle twist in your hair!!! Or, ummm... if you want something a bit wilder, you could try a faint red tint. I think blonde would be a bit much. here's a pic, i would want a little bit more brown in there, but you can see some of it on the left side of her hair:

and someone i know uses mendhi in her hair, which gives it a very subtle tint of orange!

Don't get blonde or any unnatural color, it will really stand out %26amp; make your hair look trashy. Also, you'd have to bleach those strands, which would damage it. If I were you, I'd get some caramel brown highlights. Very natural and soo pretty. I saw an asian girl w/ your skin tone get this done on her black hair %26amp; it looked gorgeous.
I think really, really, dark brown. Definitely don't do blonde because I think that would look tacky. If you don't want natural colours, try ONE random streak behind one ear in a dark colour. Dark red, purple, or blue would look nice, if you only had ONE blonde one that would look cool too :)
I dont think blonde as that will look way too bright and out of place. I suggest a dark red, because then when the sun shines on it all the colours will come out. Maybe a dark purple ? I think a deep colour would look nicer than a lighter colour because you hair is black

depending what color u wear the most. example: if you usually wear red alot get red but if you wear blue alot get blue. it'll look better.
ummm.......... im thinking platinum blonde would look great with black hair. or bright purple. or both together soory i cant give you pics. oh wen u get it done send me a pic so i can see how it turns out
Maybe a lighter brown, that'd be cool!
i would do blue red or a carmel color for you hair
id go with a dark or light brown to compliment the black in ur hair
i think if u try light brown - blond highlights...thtd look cute
