How to dye black hair blonde?

I dyed my dark brown hair jet black about 7 months ago and hated it immediately, i havent put another dye on my hair for about 3 months so i have quite a lot of brown root showing. I would really like to get my hair to blonde although i know this may involve stripping and will ruin my hair.

Does anyone have any tips? How to dye black hair blonde?
The absolutly best tip is to go to a salon and have it done. You are asking for more problems by trying to do it yourself. Using color removers and bleach are not recommended. First you should have used a semi perm tint since you hated it from the beg. At least it would have gradually washed out. But you didn't know that.

Then once you get the black out, going blonde isn't easy to do from a dark brown or black. It will def involve stripping the hair and will need bleach. Knowing what products to use, and what volume of peroxide is all part of the process that you don't know about.

I would go to a professional, having them get rid of the black and get some highlights done. Start out with that and see if you even like the lighter hair. Going from a harsh black or even your dark brown to blonde is a lot of work and upkeep. Highlights won't be so much as a solid color.

Quit messing with what you don't know and leave it to someone who does. They will also have all the products needed.

edit....everyone else suggested something totally different....how will you choose when you don't know. 20 volume may not lighten it enough, especially the black (it could stay orange) making it uneven. A blonde tint won't work if it's NOT light enough....I can go on and on. Their experiences aren't necessarily the same as your hair. How to dye black hair blonde?
go to sally beauty supply and buy prism lites powder bleach in natural and some 40 volume developer, and then put an intensive deep conditioning treatment on it. Then you could buy a blonde dye that you like and dye your hair. You may also have to buy a toner to remove any orange or yellow that may be in your hair after bleaching.
Very carefully... your hair is going to be really fried when your done, but just put on bleach with volume 20 developer leave it on for 20 minutes, then put on a dark blonde color. This is going to be the best way to do. You can go lighter later. Bu tthis way will be the safest way for your hair.
You could use Color Zap or Color Oops which would remove dye pigment from your hair without completely ruining it.

Plus, Color Zap and Color Oops makes your hair ready to dye after using it but I recommend deep conditioning for a day in between Color Zap/Oops and dying it.
go buy the blond color at a beauty Supply store that all i can think of
