How do i get rid of black hair dye ASAP?

I dyed my hair black right before thanksgiving, and now i want to go medium brown.I recently tried using the dye meant for dark hair, but it didn't work at all. I have a wedding coming up in three weeks and really want this black gone. I don't know what to do, and i definitely do not have the money to go to a salon. Any suggestions? I'm so desperate. How do i get rid of black hair dye ASAP?
i have natural blonde hair and yesterday i was dared by my sister and cousin to dye my hair black.. so i did. we died it midnight black. after i saw it i freaked and took a shower. then today i went to the store and bought Color Oops from CVS. i just put it in my hair about 4 hours ago. you leave it in for 20 minutes and it should dye your hair back to your natural hair color.. it died mine back to a dirty blonde color. but it's betttter than black! and it treats your hair so after you Oops it, you can get the medium brown you want and dye it the same day.How do i get rid of black hair dye ASAP?
I dyed my hair black just a few days before Christmas and it has almost washed out. Wash your hair at least 2 times a day and use conditioner each time. Conditioner seems to wash the black out faster. Now my hair is more of a dark brown color. So wash your hair at least 2 times a day using coditioner each time and the dye should come out more quickly. Also you can use Color Oops, that will wash the black dye out quickly.
the only way to get rid of black hair is to use bleach. color won't lift color, meaning you can't but a lighter color on your black hair to get it light. you will have to bleach it...and i wouldn't suggest doing it by yourself. if you really need to do it by yourself, buy bleach at a sally beauty supply. it is going to be damaging to your hair. but if you want it a medium brown, you wont have to let the bleach on very long. your black hair will come out an orange color once you wash out the bleach. get the bleach light enough to how brown you want. when you put the bleach on, don't put it right on your roots at first...your body heat makes the bleach lift faster at the roots. let about 1/2 inch at the roots. then go back and do the 1/2 that you didn't do once your other hair starts lifting a lighter color. you will probably have to tone it (put a color over top of the orange or color that turned out after you had bleach on it). i would use an ash color b/c it will help get all of the orange tones out. good luck.
black is a nightmare to get rid of. The only way to get rid of it is to use bleach, and your not going to be able to do it yourself, not if you want it to turn out suitable or a wedding.
i am a hairdresser and the only thing that you can do to take the black out is strip it and that is very hard on your hair and it dry's it out and then dye it again it is really bad
i would not attempt to do that on your own.

dying your hair at home is one thing. but to mess with bleaching is another!

if you cant afford it right now, save for 2 weeks and get it done right before the wedding.
dye it medium brown
uhm. you cant.
