I have black hair and i want to dye it blonde?

Okay, so I dyed my hair black a hile back. Then I decided to dye it natural red. But it didn't take and now splotches are red and splotches are black; it's the worst. Do you think it would work if i dyed it blonde first and then i dyed it red?

Thanks!I have black hair and i want to dye it blonde?
If I were you, stop the DIY dyeing and let the colour wear off by itself. Only after most of the colors are gone, should you find your way to a professional colorist.

Or if you don't want to wait, get an appointment with the colorist. He or she will save your hair!!!I have black hair and i want to dye it blonde?
go to a pro or you will regret it i know this 1st hand
I love black hair- i'd dye it black again--

not red- not blonde.
Well, there are so many issue here that you really need a color correction and that is expensive. Of course you cannot dye a lighter color over a darker color without bleaching and color removing. Color removers help to remove artificial color and bleach removes natural color. You will be left king of an orange color if you are lucky which can then be tones. Having said that, there is so much done to your hair at this point that the chances are good that if you use bleach your hair will be very damaged.
i wonder why people keep changing on what and how they look. what has been given to you by nature, accept it for you are best in that way. Sometimes the more we focus on ourselves, we disintegrate. people love you as what you are.Be yourself, nothing more.
why don't you go to the salon so nothing will be messed up?
i say stick to your natural color.
Yes, first thing is get back to your natural color with a stripper. Before using the stripper wash your hair with a clarifying treatment which removes any metals (yes, there are metals in hair dye, especially sprays and stuff and they will react with the bleach and break your hair off). Then wait (I would recommend 2 weeks) and get a dye from like Sally's Beauty Supply that has the bleach and dye in one bottle. If not you can bleach it out yourself then dye it to the desired color. This is all if you cannot afford to go to or do not trust a stylist (sometimes they do just as much damage). I am black and I dye my hair a very beautiful blonde, my hair is shoulder lenght, and yes it is my real hair. Stay away from the box numbers at the drug store they are for people with 30% to 50% grey and if this is not you, the color won't look anything like the box. Oh my favorite brand of choice is L'Oreal. You might try L'Oreal Hi-Color if you do not want to have to bleach your hair first. Hi-Color has a bleaching agent in there with the dye. Good Luck!
I would have to go with: no

Sweety, think about everything that you've done to your hair already and think about what you want to do now. At this point you won't even be able to use a bleech to take the color out. From what I gather from your explanation you did this at home with an over-the-counter color and if you put bleech on it to try and go to blonde you will damage your hair completely.

What you need to do right now is get a color remover on your hair. The problem with this is that it's going pull up some weird colors and the color that you're going to get at the end is not going to be consistant. There's probably gonna be patches of red, brown, maybe blonde throughout. Only after that can you do any coloring on your hair. So right now what you need to do is head on over to a salon near-by and have them do this for you because if you try doing anything else at home by yourself you're going to wind up with a bigger mess than what you started with. I will give you a heads up and tell you that it will probably take more than one trip to get this all done and you'll want to have rebuilding treatments done on your hair as well, but it will be worth it in the end. Good luck!

you need to go to a stylist! i think you are damaging your hair more than you think!
it depends do u think u would look good ? and yes
if you can't go to a salon walmart has a stripper you can buy that will take you back to your natural color then you can go red
You're gonna have to gradually dye it lighter and lighter.Probably about 15 times.
Sweetie, you've done enough! Get thee to a salon! They may be able to fix it. You keep messing with it, and you'll wind up with a head full of fried, broken-off frizz! I guarantee, you try dying it blonde, it'll come out Bozo-the-clown orange, and mud brown! I've seen it happen! Make an appt. at the best salon you can afford, and let them undo the damage, please! Good luck!
