Anyone know a male anime character with black hair with red tips?

Seen in a Newtype fanart picture ((colored)) I think he has yellow eyes but I';m not sure. Hair was shoulder length and probably in a not well know anime/manga. Newtype was in 2005-2007 year but I don't remember which one or the month %26gt;.%26lt;Anyone know a male anime character with black hair with red tips?
