Over the counter or professional?What is the best straight perm for black hair that lasts the longest?
I had rough thick hair for 11 years and the first time i permed my hair i used motions and I loved the results you have to leave it on for like 15 minutes...hope ya try it

You need a relaxer, not a perm. It's best to get it done in a salon, the stylist know what their doing, so the outcome will be better.
relaxers are permanent, but once your hair grows your going to need to straighten your new growth if your relaxer doesn't last long it's because your hair grows fast
