I am pregnant and have dyed black hair. I want my hair to be brown. What is a safe way to do this?

I am going to the doctor in a few weeks, and I am going to talk to him about it, but I wanted to know what other people thought and maybe if someone had the same problem before then.I am pregnant and have dyed black hair. I want my hair to be brown. What is a safe way to do this?
Heya!

Yes it is safe as long as you are not in your first trimester, and you are in a well-ventilated area. I just dyed my hair darker last week and am 31 weeks pregnant. Totally safe says my doctor.

Good luck and CONGRATS!!!

Dying your hair during pregnancy is 100% safe.

It is an old wives tale that it isn't but it actually IS very safe.

It is proven very little dye is absorbed by the scalp and therefore means your baby doesn't get any of the toxins in it.

The smell just may make you sick, so be sure you are in a very open ventilated room!
there's no safe way to dye your hair when you're pregnant, let it grow out naturally. Definitely talk to your dr. before you do anything though.
i think if you are pregnant you should worry about more important things first instead of the slight difference between black and brown. live with it and dye it when you give birth...
after the first tri you can get ur had done or use semi premenate hair color.
