I have reallly long jet black hair and i've been dying it like this for a many years. But im thinking of going lighter but i deffiently don't want to cut any length off of my hair get fried looking.
What should I do?How to get jet black hair brown or blonde?
Unfortunately, there is no way to do this without damage. Brunette would be far less damaging, but there's just no avoiding it. Stripping the color out of your hair is typically done with a bleach wash. It certainly is not nice to your hair--ignore Triccia lol Sorry, I know it sucks, but can't you sacrifice just an inch or two? Good luck! How to get jet black hair brown or blonde?
If you're going from dyed black hair to blonde, then I suggest going to a salon. I bleached my hair blonde after dying it a dark color and completely screwed it up - some parts only turned orange, some parts turned brown. Don't risk it! Doing your roots at home is fine, but anything dramatic should be left up to the professionals.
there is some kind of salon procedure, i think it is called ';stripping,'; a girl i know did it to her jet black dyed hair to make it a more natural brown...ask your hairdresser what your best options would be. it may cost you, but your hair's health is totally worth it!
