hair at home using home remedies? (I tried peroxide and it didnt work) Anything else?I had black hair and I home dyed it blonde but it came out brassy what can i do to get natural blonde looking?
Oh no, the peroxide probably made it worse! I would either bleach or use manic panic's toner called virgin snow, it'll help with the brassiness. leave it in forever though! :) you can email me if ya like. Also, pick up hair colors that say ';anti brass'; or ';no brass'; there are some by nice and easy you could try :)I had black hair and I home dyed it blonde but it came out brassy what can i do to get natural blonde looking?
try weaving some bleach in it
and then re color it
the reason it is bad is becasue hair can not lighten to that high of a level without bleach
even then.. sometimes it takes twice to bleach it lighter
if you dont want to bleach.. the only thing you can do is go darker
not black.. but darker than what you picked out to get the orange out
leave it on for only about 15 minutes.. just to calm the orange.. like a toner
good luck
GO TO A SALON!!! i have dark hair as well and have frequently dyed it blonde. the first time you lighten it, it takes 2 to 3 weeks to get it natural blonde. its impossible to lighten your hair that many shades in one dye without damaging it beyond repair. don't do anything and see a hair stylist asap.
Try to re-dye again using the same color.
If it comes brassy again than you will have to bleach it.
Sometimes the packages says 30 minutes to leave on but with blonde you need to leave it for additional 10 minutes.
to get any colour in your hair thats unusual to your hair colour, especially black, you MUST bleach it. The colours wont go in unless you bleach it, end of story.
Just do a little research, and you'll find out what you need. ;)
