My hair is dyed black and is starting to fade. I have heard that you can put a lighter color over it and it will lighten up a little. Has anyone every tried this and had success?Has anyone ever tried putting a lighter color over black hair dye?
Color can't lift color. It does not work. It lightens a little ONLY if you have NATURAL dark hair...Has anyone ever tried putting a lighter color over black hair dye?
I go from black to blonde all the time, you have to bleach it and sometimes more then once, and after you bleach it you can put the lighter color dye that you want over it
i dyed my hair black 3 months ago and no putting a lighter color over it won't lighten it. you'll have to bleach it in order to get it to a lighter color.
