I know you have to go out into the the, but how long will it take to make my hair light enough to dye ash brown? And how exactly do you go about this process?

you will have to strip your dyed hair to get the ash brown colour. i've done something similar before and it left my hair really damaged. let your hair grow out a bit first and let the dye there now just come out by itself enough... the other thing you can try, but takes a while is do heaps of stuff ot in the sun so it naturally bleaches, then you can dye it and it will come up only a little darker than you want it.If I put lemon juice in my dyed black hair, will it have an automatic effect? It's going to take a while. Its almost impossible to dye black hair another color unless you strip it.

nope that stuff only works on blond hair..im naturally blond and i use lemon juice to give it natural highlights i thank my greek mom who gave me blond hair :)lucky me
