This is a popular question today. To get black dye out you will need to strip it out and it should be done by a professional. The link below should explain it better than I could. Basically anything else you try to do will only mix with the black pigments and result in the color being off (picture orange or brassy yellow).How do you get black hair dye out of you're hair?
ok well i have heard several rumors. i heard liquid dish soap, vinegar and bar soap, bleaching, shampoo and baking soda, dandruff shampoo, etc. i have not tried these but i'm about to. i'll let you know my outcome =]

You need to get a hair color stripping product. It will strip all the permanent color out of your hair, or at least most of it and then you can dye it. I have personally done this myself because I had dyed my hair black for about 2 years or so and have a lighter brown natural hair color. I can't remember the name of the one I used but you can find them at beauty supply stores or the best way would be go to the stylist and get it professionally done but it will cost you $$$.
hair color remover/toner. theres this product called color zap you can find most places that sell hair die, i believe loreal makes it but my recommendation is to go to a salon and they can remove the color for you.
if you JUST dyed it there are home remedies such as laundry detergent
You can try Prell shampoo or a dishwashing liquid. For me, nothing worked. Black takes to brown hair pretty easily, but it does fade fairly quickly, too. Sally's has a product that removes hair dye - don't know the name of it, or if it works. You should contact them. P.S. - it's ';your,'; not ';you're.';
Over here (Netherlands) we have a shampoo called ';Head and Shoulders';. If you use it when you have colored hair, the shampoo will gradually (!!!) return your hair to its original color. It can take a long while though.
Bleach is basically the only way get Black hair color, as it really doesn't fade alot, and Black is too dark for any color to take.
Once you dye your hair black, You gonna have to bleach it out and put a brown color over it or let your hair grow out.
