So im planning to dye my hair..or erm.. parts of it..pink..

Use the strongest bleach you can find and lighten the parts of your hair you want pink

go blonde first or blonde streaks if you only want pink streaks then dye the blonde bits pink.
go to a dollar store ( im not kidding) and see if they have a hair dye called ';peruvian fire'; it's lets just say that it's really really REALLY red. the blackness of your hair should cancel out most of the red and leave you with a nice pink. hope this helps.
when you bleach black hair, it will turn pink or orange. you may not need a pink.
You have to strip the color by bleaching those strands first. After they have been bleached, you can dye them pink.
You have to bleach your ends - with black hair you are going to need a 40 volume - go to a beauty supply store open to the public ( 40 volume will lift your hair 4-5 levels) If you put a red ( pinks are hard to find and will fade very quickly over light hair) a true RED only ( no browns etc mixed in) it will turn out pink. If you go to a hair dresser to get it done professionally, they will most likely bleach parts or have the colour stripped off of your hair and then colour it pink or whatever colour you want it done.

go see a professional for best results, but bleach thick chunks or do high lights and then go over it with a rense every few weeks to make sure it doesnt fade
