How can I lighten dyed black hair?

I recently dyed my hair ';natural'; black, but ended up hating it because it looks too dark and fake. My natural hair is dark/medium brown. What shades of hair dye would I have to use to lighten my black hair to a dark brown?How can I lighten dyed black hair?
try blonde and it has to be number 1 or 0. which is the lightest blonde. it worked for my hair when i dyed it blue black. now it looks natural lol
