Coconut oil for black hair care. is there a specific kind you are supposed to use or any one will do?

I have a bottle of pure coconut oil but it is dark in colour. Should i be using the unrefined white one?Coconut oil for black hair care. is there a specific kind you are supposed to use or any one will do?
Get the unrefined white coconut oil. It's called virgin coconut oil and it works better on hair because it moisturizes and conditions hair. I've never seen dark coconut oil, maybe it's mixed with olive oil or something else.
