What would happen if i dyed black hair red?

I want to go a sort of vibrant red, but i've already dyed my hair black? what would happen if i dyed it red now? would you be able to see it just a little bit? :)What would happen if i dyed black hair red?

It might be a barely visible shade in the light.


I would also not suggest bleaching out your hair and then dying over it - doing that would require you to bleach several times and your hair would already be brittle before you dyed it red again. Not to mention that you might not even get the proper blonde - it could turn out a multitude of colors you really don't want.
It won't do anything, i had to had to have a bleach bath to strip out my black before going blonde, red flashes look nice through black though i just had slices bleached and then semi red put on and you can get the semi colour yourself for 拢3.99 from rowfers to keep it from fading, it wont go green either whoever said that the only colour it would possibly go it a very pale pink if ypu leave it long enough hope i helped :) x
i dyed my hair black and them attempted to dye it red... it was quite a bright red but nothing much happened, the black was to dark to let the red in... my advice would be to go to a brown then to a red.
even if u wanted to dye a little bit, you would have to bleach your hair first, or it wont show. i dont reccommend this because after the red dye fade, your hair will turn green where you dyed it.
if you have roots your roots will go red and your hair will stay black.. i doubt youll even have a red tint on black hair, it just wouldnt take
you will probably get a red tint on it, and it will probably show in your roots.
i doubt it, to do something that drastic is always best to have done by a professional
