What are some home remedies to fade black hair dye?

I dyed my hair black and I don't like it anymore. What are some home remedies to make it fade? (such as the shampoo and baking soda thing.)

Thanks! What are some home remedies to fade black hair dye?
bye COLOR OOPs at walgreens or go to a Sally's Beauty Supply store or any other beauty store and ask for a Hair Color Remover..

they have different types.. loreal has a real good one. check that one out. What are some home remedies to fade black hair dye?
Baking soda + shampoo gave me the best results, so far.

Dawn dish detergent didn't have as much of an effect, but helped slightly.

Next things I'm going to try:

Soaking my hair in diet coke

Using Tide detergent (powder form)

Soaking my hair in lemon juice

...Hopefully it helps - last resort will be a color remover product.

I'm not going to use bleach to strip the color - although in my experiences the fading results would be immediate... it's just too damaging though.

Thanks for the link to your question :)

You should get Vitamin C (Without Rose Hips) crush it up and put in shampoo apply to hair wrap hair in plastic bag and wrap in hot towels for 20 mins! It will fade it some.

repeat twice a week!
Use Dawn soap instead of shampoo.

The chemicals get rid of everything :O

But make sure to use conditioner. :)
