How do you get black hair dye out of your nails?

I dyed my friend's hair black a few days ago. I usually don't wear the gloves when dying hair and it's never done this before. The hair dye is STILL in my nails. :/ Help? How do I get it out, like what's the quickest way?How do you get black hair dye out of your nails?

Good luck with that one...it has likely stained your cuticles, and possibly in the crevice under the tip of your nail. Most likely you will just have to wait for it to grow out and wear off.





In the future, it would be wise to wear gloves, especially when working with a strong colour, such as black.
If it is nail polish you've gotten the dye on, unfortunately there is nothing you can do to get the polish back to it's color.





If it is your natural nails that have been stained, you will want to use an astringent. Witch hazel works really well for removing stains from skin and nails.
