How can I go from black hair to brown?

I've had my hair black for a long time now and I would love to go brown but when I dye my hair brown it still looks black! Help please!How can I go from black hair to brown?
It's bad for your hair, but the only way to go from black to brown is to bleach it and then dye over it. The bleach will harm your hair no matter what, but when you dye it brown look for a natural or moisturizing dye.How can I go from black hair to brown?
Either grow it out (Healthy option)


Or use peroxide to get it blondish then dye it Brown (This will most probably kill your hair)
