If i need to bleach over black hair dye, will my brown roots come out brighter than the rest?

My hair is dyed black. It has been over 2 months since I have recolored my roots + my natural hair color is a light brown. So I now have noticeably brown roots and the rest is black. I understand that the only way to dye over black hair dye is to bleach it or strip it..

My question is: if I have my hair bleached, will my brown roots come out brighter/more vibrant then my black ends?

Thanks! If i need to bleach over black hair dye, will my brown roots come out brighter than the rest?
Yep, the brown roots will come out alot lighter than the rest of the hair, since the roots have never been dyed before. I have naturally brown hair and i dyed my hair black several times before, and everytime i'd bleach the black out, the ';virgin hair'; always lightens faster and will be a light yellow, the black hair will be orange. If your bleaching your hair on your own, then you should apply the bleach to the black hair without getting it on your roots(as much as possible), and let the bleach lighten the black hair until its about the color of your roots, then put the rest of the bleach on your roots. I'm sure hair stylist would say its not the ';right way'; to do it... but its always worked great for me.If i need to bleach over black hair dye, will my brown roots come out brighter than the rest?
The bleach won't screw with the grown out parts. If there is a noticeable difference between the two colors, Then yeah. Their will be a noticeable difference, Not exactly sure if it will be brighter or vibrant...
Yes! It happened to me and I had to go the hairdresser to get it fixed
