What's the best way to get black hair dye out?

I dyed my hair black about three months ago and I want to lift the color. I've tried two different auburn colors and only my roots get dyed. Please no ';just don't do it'; answers. What's the best way to get black hair dye out?
once your hair is black, there's no going back. no colors will dye over the black. either 1. get color oops remover or the like (you can get it at a drugstore) this will take most of the color out and allow you to redye over it to the color you want. 2. bleach it. it may be awful for your hair, but it will work. 3. go to a salon (she'll probably just end up bleaching it though). i had the same problem and the only way was to bleach it and start over. What's the best way to get black hair dye out?
there's special dye removers you can buy

it doesnt affect your hair..

it just removes un-natural colors you have

or you could bleach and dye to a color near your natural ?

that way when your hairs growing back you cant tell it just looks natural :)
Try washing your hair your hair with Dawn dishsoap. It'll take a while but the colour will fade like crazy.
Try color oops at walgreens
I've heard that salons can strip hair of it's pigment. You may want to try that.
you may have to dye lt again
