What hair color will look good with black hair?

I have black hair with light brown almost dark blonde highlights in my hair. I was thinking after my highlights fade to highlight it a different color. I don't want it to be to light... I like it more dark but you can still see it in my dark black hair. What are some good hair colors for highlights for black hair? Please give links too.What hair color will look good with black hair?

If you don't mine a non natural color, dark purple and dark blue look really cool with black hair. Especially underneath or on the tips.
since you love funky colors i think a lavender color would look awesome with real dark hair. Its vibrant, fun, and not many ppl dye their hair that color.
