What country does light blue eyes, black hair and light tanned skin come from?

I was wondering what country did this look begin in. Im trying to look more into my heritage but i cant find anything because I cant ask anyone and if i get a DNA it will cost loads :(





Ireland normally has pale skin soo anywhere else do you think??

That combination probably can come from any number of places. In genealogy, we really don't think of a person's ancestry in terms of appearance.





Also your appearance might be a combination from more than one ancestor. Your parents can have recessive genes that don't show up in their appearance but will show up in their children.





In my family we are hybrids. My father was light brown hair with blue eyes and had lots of skin cancers as he got older. He had a dark hair brown eyed mother and a blue eyed sandy haired father. My mother had dark hair and brown eyes but her skin tones were not all that dark. Both of my sisters tanned very very well.


They were both born with black hair that turn what is called tow head(almost white blonde). Then it darkened as they got older. My youngest has brown eyes and my older had hazel eyes.


I was born with red hair, blue eyes and a skin cancer type complexion. Now my younger sister and I have the same facial shape.





That shows you that we picked up different genes in our appearance. We shared some but we didn't share all.





The best way to know your heritage is to trace it starting with yourself and working back. Anytime you wish to do this, there are lots of good people on this board that can give you some great tips and advice. You identified yourself from England. Do that if you come back and ask.

Well by ';tanned'; if you mean olive-skinned then I would say Greeks may fall into your ';description';
