What are good highlights for black hair?

i've gotten brown highlights before and i have black hair. they don't show up, nobody noticed them. i think red would look nice but make sure it's a subtle red. blonde would look good but you would have to do not all around highlights but chunks ( google cassadeee pope she has the hair i'm picturing ) also i think purple would look nice. to be honest any colour would look good on black hair because black matches everything. just like when you pick out your outfit, black pulls everything together.



just don't do pink and black, that is really outdated now.
brown are usually the best for black hair because they stand out without looking to out there.. i'd go for a caramel kind of brown

Or if you want it too stand out more n be more out there go for a blonde type of colour..
