I have black dyed hair now and I want to have blonde hair. When I strip it though, my hair goes orange-y so that can't work. How do I get to blonde??How can I get from black hair to blonde?
This is a few steps process that should be done at a salon. Everyone goes through that red stage and depending on the condition of your hair before you start will be on how blond you can get. It will have to bleached a few times, and probably toned down to get the orange or red undertones out of it. Or even a couple of different shades of blond weaved in to make it look more natural, it is just hard to do it at home, and get everything even. Just for the fact that you want to put the color/bleach on your roots last (the heat from your head makes that part develop faster). This is one that is best left to the professionals, to keep your hair less damaged, then for touch ups you may be able to do it yourselfHow can I get from black hair to blonde?
This is really one of those things that you should leave to the professionals. Because of the red pigment, which everyone has in their hair, you are getting an orange effect when you try to strip out existing colour. In order to get this light enough not to look yellowy, then you would have to do repeated applications which would seriously damage your hair. The professionals have access to much stronger products than you can buy for home use - they also know how to do this process without unnecessary damage.
stripping hair does make it orange and then you have to recolor, thats the purpose of stripping
