What are some good hair products that will make black hair grow?

i have short nappy hair and i want to know what is a good product that will make your hair long and bouncyWhat are some good hair products that will make black hair grow?
ok heres my advice and what im doing. I get a relaxer every 8 weeks, i co-wash every night, i use herbal essence long term relationship conditioner and the leave in (it in like an dark pink bottle from walmart) and i use a clarifying shampoo every sunday( i use the one by pantene, its clear). I deep condition my hair with olive oil like twice a week ( wash my hair, put olive oil on it, plastic cap and a warm towel) i walk around like that for like two hours then rinse and put the leave in on my ends I take 5000mcg of biotin every day, i make sure my hair stays moisturized and i pay special attention to my ends! I also do not use heat on my hair! After a relaxer i wrap my hair and let it air dry and it stays straight for like a week doing that but if i dont have time to wrap( got three kids) i put my hair in a bun. Changing your bad habits really will make your hair grow. I drink lots of water, eats lots of protien and i treat my hair like delecate lace. I dont drink soda, eat lots of sugar, i massage my scalp and i recently started using this stuff called mega tek. Google it and youtube a girl called macy, her page is called macys corner. She has been using it for 9 weeks and her hair went from shoulder length to bra strap length. I ve been using it for three days so i will c if it works but all the ladies that do use it have had crazy growth but please do your reasearch if you want soe because some web sites sell it muuuuuucccchhhhh cheaper than others! What are some good hair products that will make black hair grow?
Massage small amounts of fresh or canned coconut milk into the scalp and keep overnight if possible or at least for a few hours. This procedure will help hair grow longer, thicker and also make your hair look soft and shiny. Try http://solutionsforhairgrowth.blogspot.c/a> for more remedies and details.
These worked AMAZING for me. I didnt start see growth until the middle of the second bottle, but within a week or two of the first bottle, my hair was softer, shiny, and healthy from the inside, its amazing =)

You will never have bouncy hair unless you use chemicals to change its appearance. But as for growth, I've heard all sorts of good things about Dr. Miracle products. I personally use Organic Root Stimulator, but African Pride also works really well.

  • Any excellent black hair straighteners that are natural?

My wife hates her hair. She relaxes it often because once she washes, it her hair is coarse again. Its not that it grows fast either to say its the growth. Anyone know of any natural relaxers that will not break her hair and that she can use on hair that is already chemically relaxed?Any excellent black hair straighteners that are natural?
How unfortunate. She probably hates her natural hair because, like many women of color, she's been relaxing it fr so long she just doesn't know how to take care of it. There are natural relaxers, however they work better on natural hair and are ot really effective on relaxed hair. If her hair is chemically relaxed....then the hair is already broken..in order for chemical relaxers to be effective they have to break the bonds in hair. I'd also say that it may not even be the case that her hair just grows slow...relaxers make hair more susceptible to breakage and since black hair is typically more fragile, her hair probably IS growing, it's just that since she is relaxing it she isn't RETAINING the length. This is why relaxing hair is bad.

At this point, what I suggest you do is just invest in natural products that could help her love the hair that she has. Since I doubt she would be open to going natural (as this would require cutting off the relaxed hair)...what you can do is just help her love her hair and retain length. The Kiwi Coconut Hair Smoothie from Mineral Indulgence...is really good at deeply conditioning hair, and the Avocado and Almond butter shampoo is geat as well. Just ask her what products she feels would best help her with her hair. Also if you want to you can also invest in a hair straightener like Bedhead...they don't damage the hair as much.

Make sure you get the products for relaxed hair though and not the ones for natural hair.

How can I lighten dyed black hair?

I recently dyed my hair ';natural'; black, but ended up hating it because it looks too dark and fake. My natural hair is dark/medium brown. What shades of hair dye would I have to use to lighten my black hair to a dark brown? How can I lighten dyed black hair?
try blonde and it has to be number 1 or 0. which is the lightest blonde. it worked for my hair when i dyed it blue black. now it looks natural lol

How do i lift my black hair to blonde?

I've had black hair now for about 3 years which i have always dyed with semis, i've tried to bleach the black off but after 2 hours with bleach on it jus wont lift??? its gone a darkish brown, my hairs still in good condition. I just dont know where to go from here? How do i lift my black hair to blonde?
Go to a reputable salon - this is not something you should attempt at home, you'll end up with straw for hair. How do i lift my black hair to blonde?
You should go to the salon and get it dyed professionally. They will probably strip the color from your hair, then try and dye it a lighter shade and you probably won't achieve the exact color you were looking for until a few more trips back to the salon. And you probably will be in the salon for a while getting it done, but it's well worth it. I used to dye my own hair too, sure it's cheap and convenient, but there's nothing better than getting it done professionally.
Black is the hardest color to lift...

The best thing to do, HONESTLY is to seek advice from a licensed cosmetologist...

They will provide you with options to lift the color and to keep your hair healthy...

If you continue to bleach it, you will damage it horribly...
Go to the hairdressers and get it done professionally.
It cant be done! Dying it with semis might seem like a good idea but the build up where u keep dying it over and over actually turns it perminant. I did exactly the same thing as you. I spent 拢100 and 5 hours in a salon getting the hairdye stripped but i left looking exactly the same as i went in, despite them telling me they could get it blonde. This was 7 months ago and ive got about 4/5inches of my natural hair colour coming through now as ive stopped dying it completely. Youre gunna have to wait and grow it out and or every couple months get some highlights put through it to lighten the black and even with your natural hair colour so youre not going to have a sold block of roots. BLEND! Its an annoying lengthy process but i look forward to having lovely blonde hair and getting rid of the state my hair is in atm! You say your hair is in good condition but the constant dying and styling will damage it so make sure u use a really deep condtioning conditioner! Good luck xx
Wait for it to grow out, what colour are you originally. I managed to burn my hair with hair dye, ruined my whole hair which went sticky and sap like and cost loads in hair products which in the end i had to use every wash. Maybe try lightening gradually. But over months and not weeks. Hope this helps. Just try not to burn your hair!!!
ooh... you HAVE to get it proff done... there is just no way around it. My friend has made the mistake many many times. And the more you try to fix it... the more messed up it will get.

Black dye will not come out right/ evenly... and if you keep bleaching you will eventually be able to grab a clump of hair and pull it out with ease. If you did it the same way I've seen it before its about a thousand diferent colors.

It's kind of between going back to black (which you shouldnt do yourself either..... there is something about black dye that makes it impossible to work with if you dont know what you are doing) going to a hairdresser (probably look at spending $35-60 depending on the salon....expect the higher just to make sure you have enough.)
don't do it dark hair is beautiful
You need to go to a hairdresser for such a dramatic change! Expensive but well worth it!

How can I dye my Dark Black Hair to Jet-Black Hair?

I was wondering how I can dye my already Dark black hair to Jet-black. Some of my friends have told me about a product named henna for hair but I haven't researched it yet. Do any of you guys know some really good and SAFE products for Hair dye? Thanks! How can I dye my Dark Black Hair to Jet-Black Hair?
Henna is red. Any other colour that claims is henna is not real henna. They will often have a lot of strange and dangerous ingredients in them.

To get jet black, use jet black colour. Almost every company will make some. You may have to add some blue to it for a deeper shade. Remember that most black is very difficult to remove. Black is not a very natural hair colour... most people you see have dark brown hair which looks black to you. Safe? That depends on your definition of what is safe and what is not. It is foreign material, so consider that. How can I dye my Dark Black Hair to Jet-Black Hair?
henna is completely natural but i don't know if it really makes your hair darker...just smoother and silkier. The only thing with henna is that it'll make ur hair smell funny for a little while(not in a bad way, but probably not something your used to). Your best bet is to get it done professionally...btw i dont think the NBA's rigged- just needs better refs :]
just go buy a box kit. as far as i know there are no problems unless you have some kind of reaction to the product which could happen with natural dyes. i have highlighted, frosted %26amp; colored my hair for many years %26amp; have never had any problems with box dye kits.
you have to go and have a look around eventually you will find the perfect Color and if it is any good at the back it will say if it has a reaction if i does not do not use it will bot be a certified company
go to sally's and ask there

they can help you alot there

blonde...if u want a really big contrast. but for something more natural i would go with a caramel, bronze, ore medium brown color. just the lighter u go the more damage your hair will get damaged since they have to strip the color. so remeber to deep condition at least once a week.
i like brown highlights with black it looks very natural and pretty

i couldnt find a good pic sorry...

    mine please?

You could always do it safe and go with blonde but auburn will look really good. But if you want blonde go for the light ones.

red in my opinion is too much for black hair!
Dark brown, like a little lighter than your hair is now so it will be subtle, and not too obvious.
    Caramel or bronze.
    CARMEL, DEFINITLY!!
    blonde highlights are sexy
    Blonde.
    reddish brownish?
red highlights give it a really cool tint
    Auburn...a kind of darkish red.
red or if you want to be different do the skunk lol
I think either brown or dark dark red
    go with brownish blonde higlights

  • How to lighten dark to black hair?

I died my hair black awhile ago and i really liked it now im just sick of redying my roots almost every month...is there any way to lighten my hair with highlights or something? what should i do? because u hate the look of roots showing. How to lighten dark to black hair?
Go to a salon and consult a professional. There's really no way for you to do it without making it look twenty times worse than it does to have your roots showing. Home-crafted highlights would be ill-able to help you, now.
