What is the process of putting red streaks in naturally black hair?

I have African-American type hair, not permed. What precausions do I need to take? Does it have to be permanent, or can it fade out after time? What is the process of putting red streaks in naturally black hair?
Go to your Salon and ask the question.

I had dyed Black hair at one point, and I wanted it red. So I went in and they told me about this stuff they use on African-American type hair, and it really works! The red was so vibrant!

I think dyed black hair is worse, than natural, in the sense that its harder to change the colour.

Unfortunately, as with *all* red hair dye I have experienced, It's the fastest fading hair colour. It will go to a pinkish gingery colour after not too many washes. So, it's quite high maintenance to keep it bright red.

Going to the salon will produce a brighter nicer healthier red than any DIY dye. I definitely would suggest going and talking to a hair colouristWhat is the process of putting red streaks in naturally black hair?
the red wont show on black if you dont bleach it first so fading out isnt really possible. it will fade some but will end up a burt reddish lt brownish color. if possible go to a pro but if your a diy-er then make sure your hair is in good condition be careful to read the instructions and not overprocess and keep your hair well moisturized after as your hair shaft will need the nourishment
