How to bleach black hair at home?

Hi, I was wondering if there are any household products I could use to make a blonde highlight or 2 in my hair? My hair is dyed black, and it's very thick. And if not, what bleaching kit can I use that won't fry my hair? Thanks. How to bleach black hair at home?
hey well i have platinum blonde hair and i recomend highlights then building them up but if you dont want to do this then i recommend this btw i dont no about what products u have in the us but ill try help with everything else.how ever i deffinatly recommend getting it done in salon but thats not what u asked.

1. buy some bleack and peroxide 30 vol-9% if the hair is already damaged if not then 40 vol-12%

2. mix up the two products untill it looks like whipped ice cream

3.apply to the hair using a tint brush i recommend you section all the hair and apply to the ends forst then go back to the root because if you do the root first which is your natural colour it will lift lighter here .

4.leave for 50 minutes without heat as heat drys the bleach out .

5.rinse of the colour and shampoo do not condition and blowdry is the hair is hard to lift it works better on dry hair

3.for a toner because of you budget if u have it get a loreal ph01

4.apply this all over the hair apart from the dark parts section those off

5.leave for approximatly half hour i hope this helps i am a hairdresser and i do not recomend this i recommend getting a cap and highlighting your hair gradually then u will get less multi-tones and not as damaged i tried to write this as formally as possible not in hairdresser talk lol but good luck maybe watch a video on youtube of how to apply hope this helps xHow to bleach black hair at home?
Bleaching your hair will always ALWAYS damage your hair.

I did it and I do think it looks better but my roots still are darker

The most important question you got to ask yourself is if you really want to put so much strain on your hair.

And if you want to keep on repeating it on your roots. (it's quite the job)

IF you do bleach your hair please don't do it at home.

Hairdressers know better because they studied for it!

Really it might cost more buit the damage will be less. If you don't want to ruin your hair too much don't do it at home.
they say when you go more than 2-3 shades lighter than your own hair color than it shouldn't be done at home... for your question I would go to a salon because... that is risky, not only do you risk the color coming out bad (orange)... but also damaging it severely... you really are going from one end of the color spectrum to the other... If you find a good salon that doesn't charge you outrageously then go... it's worth it I promise... hope this helps
