What is the best way to keep black hair dye from fading?

I dyed my hair black a few weeks ago-- I really enjoy the color! :D

I have dyed black hair also and I use herbal essence shampoo and conditioner for dyed hair and it seems to keep the color. =]
Try using a shampoo and conditioner that is made for colored hair. Also, when you're out in the sun a lot, hair color can fade.
