Is semi permanent BLACK hair dye hard to get out and very damaging?

My natural hair is light brown/dark blonde. Semi permanent washes out in 8-10 washes or something like that and I think it just coats it. I heard that black is hard to change. Is it hard to change if it is semi-permanent?Is semi permanent BLACK hair dye hard to get out and very damaging?
black is pretty permanent anyway. even if it is semi-permanent it may last longer than expected. if you decide you don't want it use a small amount of baking soda mixed with water and rinse your hair with it.

but be sure to condition after wards because it could dry your hair .Is semi permanent BLACK hair dye hard to get out and very damaging?

don't try dying it blonde or light brown again or else it will turn red.

(no joke, it happened to me before. thankfully i realy liked the red and it looked good on me tho =))

black doesnt damage your hair that much, darker shades aren't to bad for your hair and sometimes can leave your hair in better condition, depending on the brand.

dying your hair a lighter color is very damaging especialy bleaching.
oh my gosh YES most black hair dye is made with charcoal and metalic color and if you have red or gold undertones your hair might turn green!!! and it could get really damaged in the process, your best bet is to go to a professional, because if something goes wrong they'll know exactly what to do!
Black tends to linger and fade.

Trying to get it out is damaging with the bleaching %26amp; coloring that is invovled.

Trying to keep the roots up to date %26amp; such.

If you don't your hair will just look silly.

and black shows split ends horribly.
No but as it fades out, the color might look a little odd depening on how light your natural hair color is.
