How much would it cost to get a professional to get the black hair dye out of my hair?

About 6 months ago, I decided to dye my blonde hair black. I've had fun with it, but it's time for me to go back blonde. I know it's a very hard thing to do, and I'm going to need a professional to do it.. so I need to know how much it costs. If it costs too much, I'm just going to have to let my hair grow out.How much would it cost to get a professional to get the black hair dye out of my hair?
Depending on which area of the country your in I would guess well over $100, maybe up ot $150....I know that most salons charge double for color correction. I do not however there isn't a color in existance I cannot fix...

I respect your decision to seek out a professional stylist. I would like to share with you what far too many people do so you can make an informed decision...

In my professional and personal experience I have found that far too many salons immediately reach for the ';Uncolor'; or other hair color removal product.

I won't use them simply because the only results I have ever seen is the beautiful orange glowing hair. This is usually followed by applying a blue based hair color to attempt to cancel out the undesired colors. It can go either way.

What I use, and I am sure that others would disagree due to the fact its more damaging is Bleach. Bleach has the power to lighten above the orange glowing effect. Once I get it bleached to the yellow, I then tone it with Loreal Color Gems, either 8 natural or 10 natural. It does wash out gradually (6-8 weeks) but the other option isn't something I am willing to chance, I want it right the first time.

I use and recommend ';Natural'; base colors for the simple reason that most people, as well as stylists are not experts in color theory.

Bases are Red, Yellow and Blue. Secondary are Orange, Purple and green. A primary must be mixed with the opposite secondary color....A color wheel makes it slightly easier but I do know that experience is the most important factor.

';NATURAL'; bases are premixed to include equal amounts of the primary colors which is basically brown. I would rather color than experiment. A stylist places her or his license and reputation each and everytime they provide a service.

Using products that produce desireable results everytime, all though there is always an exception or denial by a client....

What you need done is 2 steps. Bleach and tone with a demipermanent.

I hope that some of this was helpful as sometimes asking the right questions at a salon BEFORE they start is the valuble info you can have. Ask on the phone. Ask why...If they can't tell you why, call another salon...

Best of luck to you........How much would it cost to get a professional to get the black hair dye out of my hair?
I did the same thing about six months ago and went from black back to blond. It wrecks your hair. My hair was breaking off badly, but it depends on how long it takes to strip the color out and how much color and product are used. It will probably run you any where from $150.00 or higher dpending what kind of salon you are going to.
It depends where you go. Grab the yellow pages and call several places and ask what they would charge you.
