I have black hair and fair skin--what color highlights should I go with?

I want to get highlights and I kind of know what I want. I want some noticeable change but not a dramatic one. So I decided to go with light brown highlights. Do you think that would look good on my coloring?I have black hair and fair skin--what color highlights should I go with?
For your hair, don't go to dramatic. Try Reds, Auburns, and Plum exstead of browns, Blondes and Light Brown.


The red colors will cool good and natural blend in with balck hair.

hmm.. good question.. ok so i kinda think any color of hilites will look dramatic on dark black hair but dramatics cool! it wouldnt really look natural with drk black hair and honey hilites so im guessing what if you lighten up the dark black with a dark brown and then put the hilites. I think it will make your skin glow and wont look as pale. but this is only my opinion and you will choose what best suits you! =D god bless and it'll come out great!
you'll look fabulous with burgundy....may b at the end of ur hair..instead if highling the top of ur hair..somethg new
I like a deep red-ish color with black hair. But brown can look good too, as long as it not too light.
Black and Blonde DO NOT go together. so yes go with a low light either brown or a red (not orange!)
