like a box brand that u can find at walmart, or something like that, that is easy to find.What brand of hair dye will turn black hair brown?
Any brand can if you have never dyed your hair before, dye can lift 4 levels, but box color usually has 20-30 volume, so box color might not work for you. If you have ever dyed your hair before you will have to bleach it first, color will not lift color. Then you can tone it with a brown dye. But you only need to lift it one or two levels, not all the way to the damage problems. Then tone it with an ash brown color. And just to let you know, lemon juice is the same thing as bleach, but worse because it is a straight acid. It does strip hair, just like bleach does, just in response to the previous answer.What brand of hair dye will turn black hair brown?
i used to think the same thing, that u had to strip ur hair! i was DEAD wrong! after i accidently dyed my hair permanent blk, my hair dresser gave me this home remedy that works wonders!!! u have to try it to believe it! what u do is buy some lemon juice. fill up a cup with 1/3rd lemon juice and add 1/4 of conditioner(any one will do) put the mixture on ur hair and comb it through(it can get messy so have a twel drapped over ur shoulders) after u comb it throughout ur hair, towel dry ur hair, then, blow dry the mixture in ur hair-u should see it slowly lightening. when hair is fully dry(it should feel somewhat crispy) pour another cup of lemon juice and in the shower, b4 washing the misture off pour the lemon juice on ur hair. wash it off and condition it and tada!! email me and let me know how it goes!! goodluck! :)
it is veryy very hard to die your hair to a lighter color after its been black. it usually turns orange..sorry to sayy but i know from expericence! take my advise and go to a professionall get a strip and then die it the color you want! pleaseee dont make a mistakeee
i donno if u can go lighter with weak dyes like those that come in boxes. You will have to bleach it and die it brown over it. Or else pay to get it done professionally..
