How do you strip dyed black hair by using items at home, washing up liquid, etc?

I've heard using washing up liquid to wash your hair helps strip permanent black hair dye, any other remedies? How do you strip dyed black hair by using items at home, washing up liquid, etc?
You know what they say, once you go black.......

Seriously though, GO TO A PRO!! or just let it grow out. Trust meHow do you strip dyed black hair by using items at home, washing up liquid, etc?
I accidentally ended up with black hair at a salon one time. I went to two others and was told stripping the hair would just about ruin it. So I had highlights put in and that helped until the black eventually faded out.
Go to a Professional...if you try to use a color stripper on your hair you can chance melting it off completely! Those things can be hard core and black is the toughest color to get out because your hair has to go through so many processes to remove it.....

seek help from a salon!
go to a hairdressers.

although using a anti-dandruff shampoo twice daily will make it fade alot.
i agree 100% with the first answer
Washing your hair everyday or twice a day with dishwashing liquid or dandruff shampoo will fade it a lot, but will not completely strip it. Same with those dye stripping kits you can buy at drugstores. These methods work best when you use a lighter color dye that is only a couple shades darker than your hair color. You can try it, but you will probably just end up with faded black hair that is dry and fried. You really need to do this professionally, especially if you want to go back to a very light or blond color.
You cannot safely strip black dye out of your hair with products found in the home. Dishwashing liquid is powerful stuff, and you risk drying out and damaging your hair with it. I would go to a beauty supply store like sally's and buy loreal color zap or one n' only brand color stripper. Color strippers lift the cuticle and remove the dye safely, with minimal damage to your hair. An even better idea is to get it done at a salon! Remember, stripping the dye from your head will leave you with a color different from your natural hair. If you are stripping out black, you will probably be left with a copperish brown. I HIGHLY recommend a salon, because it's easy to end up with the wrong color when stripping dye!
