How can I change my black hair to dark brown hair?

I want to get my hair a lighter shade NATURALLY. I heard about some lightening products, but my hair isnt brown to begin with.. I mean, how are you supposed to lighten black hair? Tips please!How can I change my black hair to dark brown hair?

u can buy a 'natural' shade of brown hair color, like a level 3 hair color, and use 20v peroxide (for 20minutes). there isn't a real way to naturally lighten ur hair, without using some sort of chemical... However, when u color ur hair, it does get lighter because of washing ur hair and it oxidizes once the color mixes w/ ur body chemistry- just as an fyi
